Job Description

Law firm is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join their Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities:

• Research parties, corporate structures, parent companies, affiliates, and other relevant relationships to identify potential conflicts.
• Review new business intake information for accuracy and completeness and follow up with attorneys and staff as needed
• Conduct searches within the Firm's conflicts management system and prepare clear, detailed reports for attorneys and staff
• Communicate with attorneys regarding conflict checks, required information, lateral clearances, and new matter openings
• Maintain and update the Firm's conflicts database
• Open new matters and assist with related conflicts and intake procedures
• Support the Global Head of Conflicts with special projects and other departmental initiatives
• Participate in rotating evening and weekend on-call coverage as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 1-2 years of corporate/professional services required
• Previous experience in a large law firm highly preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel a must

Salary Range: $80-90K
